Thrustmaster T300RS base hűtés

A T300 bázisába van építve a tápegység plusz ott van még természetesen az jó erős FFB motor ami elég meleget tud termelni ahhoz, hogy túlmelegedjen. Hiába van beállítva egy 60mm-es ventilátor, csak a meleg levegőt kevergeti, a szellőző rácsok kevesek ahhoz, hogy elég friss levegő kerüljön a házba.

Hogy ez miért rossz?

Egyrészt semmelyik alkatrésznek nem tesz jót a túlzott meleg, másrészt a bázis érzékeli a túlmelegedést és jócskán visszavesz az FFB-ből (gyakorlatilag megszűnik a visszacsatolás). A neten van jónéhány megoldás a hűtésre, én így oldottam meg:

The power supply is built into the base of the T300 and of course there is a powerful FFB motor that can generate enough heat to overheat. Even though there is a 60mm fan, but it only mixes the warm air, the ventilation grilles are too small to get enough fresh air into the house.

Why is this bad?

On the one hand, overheating is not so good for any component, and on the other hand, the base detects overheating and turns down the FFB (feedback forces almost disappears). There are lot of solutions for cooling on the net, I solved it like this:

Lyukak a két 40mm-es ventilátornak (már ez a kêt lyuk is sokat segített a hűtésen, a jobb oldali lyuknál érezni lehetett a belső ventilátor szelét):

Élesben még nem teszteltem, de biztos jó lesz, mert amikor csak a lyukak voltak meg a ventillátoroknak, már akkor sem tapasztaltam "FFB fading"-et.

I haven’t tested it yet, but it sure will be good, because when there were only holes for the fans, I didn’t even experience FFB fading.

UPDATE:

Az FFB-t maximumra felvéve fél órás menet után kikapcsolt ventilátorokkal, a gyári ventilátor 35°C fokot fúj ki a házból. bekapcsolt ventilátorokkal ez 29°C. Egyik esetben sincs FFB fading.

After half an hour of racing with max FFB setup, the factory fan blows 35°C out of the housing, when the fans switched off. With the fans switched on, this is 29°C. No more FFB fading.
